    Kellie Anfosso
Kellie started to develop a love of sports in 1968, at age 5 while listening to her father announce high school football and basketball games. Her journey into sports photography started when she videotaped her son playing sports. She bought her first Canon 50D DSLR to capture her son playing basketball without blur. She started taking photos for the paper in 2009 and added more sports as friends asked her to capture their kids in action. Her sport photography style has been to tell the story, show the passion and to get kids into local papers and national magazines. Her photos have been in USA Wrestling in 2018 and 2022. Her photos were featured on the 2017 Texas UIL Wrestling State Championship Program.
She worked with the Mckinney Magazine and had photos of commissioned products, sports, landscapes, events, and wildlife. She enjoys shooting beautiful sunsets, old buildings, wildlife, candid shots of people, and of course sports. She loves to pass on her knowledge and passion for photography.

I headed to North Cheyenne Ca?on Park hoping to capture some epic waterfall shots on a foggy day. When I arrived at Helen Hunt Falls, my original plan was to photograph the full waterfall and its surrounding landscape. But just before I packed up, I decided to zoom in with my telephoto lens to isolate the bridge above the falls?and that ended up being my favorite image of the day.Shot on my Canon R8 with a 24-105mm f/4 lensSettings: f/5.6 75mm ISO 500

Ive never tried to take photos of humming birds before. I started. but was having no luck at all until I asked Kellie for her advice for camera settings. She gave me information that surprised me, and I was able to get photos using an asa of 6400 and a shutter speed of 1/3200. I was set to AF-C, burst mode high (24fps) @20mp, using a Sony RX 10 iv. Had a fun time with the group trying to capture these elusive little critters. Learned some good techniques and great practice. Probably the most challenging photography I've tried. Need to get the shutter speed, aperture, ISO and lighting just right, plus a lot of luck as in this image where I managed to catch 3 at once. These were in the shade under the roof overhang, so lighting was difficult. Pro Capture on my Olympus camera was a huge benefit. Without it I caught mostly bird feeders and n

My wife and I drove down to Dripping Springs Tx. to shoot the Eclipse. I brought my telescope and tracking mount. The scope is a Tele Vue np101is, 540 mm on a Celestron CGX mount. The camera is a Canon R5 at prime. I was using a solar filter to keep from frying my eyes or the camera. We had heavy overcast with some breaks in the clouds, exposures were all over place trying to compensate for the clouds. A few minutes before totality, the sky cleared up and I was able to shoot the eclipse

Every time I see it and the little rope swing that hangs from it, it just fills me with a sense of peace and tranquility. I wanted to portray that in this minimalist, high key version of it.
